Forecr DSBOARD-NX2-AC NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX Industrial Carrier Board with 21 TOPS, CAN Bus and Two CSI Cameras

Xavier NX designs in robots, kiosks and machine vision cells are mature, and keeping them in production means sourcing carriers that match. The DSBOARD-NX2-AC fits the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX module to the Forecr DSBOARD-NX2 industrial carrier board.

The Xavier NX delivers 21 TOPS from a 384-core Volta GPU with Tensor Cores and a 6-core Arm CPU, the most compute in this series, and it enables the CAN bus. The DSBOARD-NX2-AD fits the TX2 NX instead, and the DSBOARD-NX2-AA is the board without a module. Cameras connect to two 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 inputs on 15-pin 1.0 mm FPC connectors, which Forecr describes as Raspberry Pi camera compatible. There is no GMSL on this board.

The DSBOARD-NX2-AC handles data and display over one Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports and HDMI 2.0 at 3840 x 2160, with a microUSB recovery port and a 3.3 V debug UART. A pluggable terminal carries a software-configurable RS232/422/485 port, two digital inputs and three digital outputs. Storage is the module’s 16 GB eMMC plus an M.2 Key-M 2280 NVMe slot and microSD, and M.2 Key-E and Key-B sockets with a SIM slot take Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE or 5G.

Power comes in at 9-28 V DC on a 4-pin pluggable terminal, a 5 V fan header supports active cooling, the 100 x 100 mm board is rated from -25 to +85 °C, and Forecr lists Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 with JetPack 4.x and 5.x. Forecr lists the DSBOARD-NX2 as end-of-life; we still supply it while stock lasts. The DSBOARD-NX2-AC suits existing Xavier NX products; new designs usually move to Orin NX.
