Forecr MILBOARD-AGX-64GB Jetson AGX Orin 64GB (275 TOPS) Rugged Carrier Board with Quad GbE, Dual CAN and Extended Temperature

Larger vision models, transformer networks and many camera streams at once run out of memory before they run out of compute. The MILBOARD-AGX-64GB answers that with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64GB fitted to the Forecr MILBOARD-AGX rugged carrier board, the highest AGX Orin tier at 275 TOPS.

The 64GB module delivers 275 TOPS from a 2048-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 64 Tensor Cores and a 12-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, with 64 GB of 256-bit memory to hold several models and their camera buffers at once. For lighter workloads, the MILBOARD-AGX-32GB fits the 32GB module at 200 TOPS, and the MILBOARD-AGX-IND fits the Industrial module where the temperature range matters more than peak TOPS.

On the MILBOARD-AGX-64GB, a 240-pin Samtec high-speed connector carries four Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI 2.0 output at up to 3840 x 2160, two CAN bus interfaces and eight UARTs with RTS and CTS from an on-board UART bridge, plus I2C and SPI. A Micro-USB debug port gives console access during bring-up. Cameras use a 120-pin Samtec camera connector that supports six CSI cameras through an adapter board; GMSL2 needs an add-on board, as the carrier has none. Storage is an M.2 Key-M 2280 NVMe slot with PCIe x4 and a full-size SD card slot.

Power is 12-30 V DC on a four-pin Molex connector, and the 150 x 140 mm board weighs 120 g and is rated from -40 to +85 °C, with an RTC, a temperature sensor and a 5 V fan header. Forecr lists Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 with JetPack 5.x and 6.x for AGX Orin. The MILBOARD-AGX-64GB suits military vehicles, aerospace payloads and robotics where the 64GB memory tier sets the requirement.
