Neousys IGT-30 TI Sitara AM3352 IoT Gateways with Dual LAN and PoE PD

A gateway mounted beside sensors often has a network cable within reach but no spare power supply, and it usually needs two networks: one facing the machines and one facing the plant or the cloud. The Neousys IGT-30 series covers both. These IoT gateways have two 10/100 LAN ports, one of which works as an IEEE 802.3at PoE+ powered device, so a single cable from a PoE switch can power the unit and carry its data. Where local power is available, they also take 12 to 25 V DC.

All four versions run a Texas Instruments Sitara AM3352 at 1 GHz with 1 GB of DDR3L memory and Debian 9 pre-installed. Dual microSDHC slots, one external and one internal, keep the system image and user data apart, which also speeds up imaging for a larger rollout. A full-size mini PCIe socket with an internal SIM slot takes a 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi module, and two antenna holes in the top of the 43 x 77 x 104 mm DIN-rail case take its SMA connectors. Six user-programmable LEDs, two user buttons, a USB 2.0 port and an RS-232 console port let the gateways run and be checked without a keyboard or screen.

The range splits into two pairs. The IGT-30D has eight isolated digital inputs (dry contact, sinking or sourcing) and two isolated outputs rated at 500 mA and 24 V, plus a software-configurable RS-232/422/485 port. The IGT-31D keeps that I/O and adds an isolated CAN 2.0 A/B port. The IGT-33V and IGT-34C move to analogue measurement at 16-bit resolution: eight 0 to 10 V, ±5 V or ±10 V inputs on the IGT-33V, and four 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 20 mA inputs on the IGT-34C, all sampled at 100 Hz. Both have two digital inputs, six digital outputs, an RS-232/422/485 port and a separate RS-485 port.

The IGT-30 series runs from -25 °C to 70 °C, with a wide temperature microSD card needed below 0 °C, and is rated for 5 Grms vibration and 50 Grms shock. EMC compliance is CE and FCC Class A to EN 55032 and EN 55024, and Neousys lists the IGT-30D and IGT-31D as Microsoft Azure and AWS Greengrass certified for IoT. In practice these IoT gateways suit Industry 4.0 data collection, machine and cabinet monitoring, and remote sites where a PoE switch is the only power to hand, and the IGT-30 series covers digital, CAN and analogue signals in the same case.
