Neousys Nuvo-2600E-PoE Intel Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E Fanless Box PC with 4x PoE+ and PCIe Cassette

Small vision cells and surveillance points often run three or four GigE or IP cameras from a computer that also needs a capture or I/O card. The NUVO-2600E-PoE powers those cameras directly and keeps the card slot. It is the PoE+ build of the Neousys NUVO-2600 series of fanless box PCs, with the Intel Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E and a patented PCIe Cassette.

The quad-core Atom x6425E runs at 2.0 GHz base and 3.0 GHz burst within 12 W, with one DDR4-3200 SODIMM up to 32 GB, Intel UHD Graphics and firmware TPM 2.0. That is enough for camera capture, recording and rule-based inspection, and the low power keeps the NUVO-2600E-PoE fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C.

All four Intel I210 GbE ports supply IEEE 802.3at PoE+, up to 25.5 W per port from a 100 W total budget, and use screw-lock RJ45 connectors so camera cables stay put. The Cassette adds one PCIe x4 slot wired at PCIe 3.0 x2 for a frame grabber or extra I/O. An isolated RS-485 port with 15 kV ESD protection, three RS-232 ports or one RS-422/485, and 4-channel isolated DI and DO handle triggers and strobes, while one screw-lock USB 3.1 Gen1 port, two USB 2.0 ports and a DVI-I output cover the rest. Recorded images can sit on the front-accessible 2.5-inch tray, with an M.2 2280 SATA system drive. For vehicle cameras, the NUVO-2600E-PoE-IGN adds ignition control.

Power is 8 to 35 V DC on a terminal block with remote on/off and LED outputs. Vibration and shock are tested to MIL-STD-810G, and the 205 x 155 x 86 mm chassis weighs 2.3 kg.
