Neousys Nuvo-7531 Intel 9th/8th Gen Core Rugged Embedded PC with 4x GbE, Isolated DIO and Hot-Swap Drive Tray

Data recorders and vision gateways need several network ports, a drive that can be swapped in the field, and room for wireless modules, all in a small case. The Neousys Nuvo-7531 is a small fanless embedded computer for that work, with four GbE ports, a hot-swappable 2.5-inch drive tray and three mini PCIe sockets on an Intel 9th or 8th Gen Core processor.

The LGA1151 socket takes Core i7, i5 or i3 processors from the i7-9700E and i7-8700 to the i3-9100TE and i3-8100T. The H310 chipset takes one DDR4-2666 SO-DIMM of up to 32 GB, and fTPM 2.0 is supported. Intel UHD Graphics 630 drive a DVI-I output for DVI or VGA and a DisplayPort output at 4096 x 2304.

The four GbE ports run from an Intel I219 and three I210 controllers. The Nuvo-7531 also carries four USB 3.1 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, four isolated inputs and four isolated outputs, and a mic-in and speaker-out jack. Storage is the hot-swappable 2.5-inch tray and an M.2 2280 SATA SSD, and three full-size mini PCIe sockets with internal SIM sockets take Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G or CAN modules.

Power is 8 to 35 V DC on a terminal block, with ignition control as an option and a header for a remote power switch and status LED. The unit runs fanless from -25 °C to 60 °C with a 35 W CPU, or with the optional fan kit for 65 W CPUs, meets MIL-STD-810G for vibration and shock, and carries EN 62368-1 safety with CE and FCC Class A.
