Neousys PCIe-NX156-JON8 Jetson Orin NX 8GB Intelligent Frame Grabber Card with 6x USB 3.2

Upgrading a USB camera inspection line to deep learning should not mean replacing the rack-mount PC that runs it. The PCIe-NX156-JON8 is the 8GB build in the Neousys PCIe-NX156 series: an AI frame grabber card with its own NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB module and six USB 3.2 ports, shipped with a 128GB NVMe SSD holding a pre-installed system image.

The six Type-A ports split into two USB 3.2 Gen2 at 10 Gbps and four USB 3.2 Gen1 at 5 Gbps. Each port supplies up to 1500 mA, with a user-configurable 900 mA or 1500 mA limit and software-programmable power on/off per port. The card sits in a PCIe x4 slot and communicates with the host over Gen2 x1 signals at 2.5 Gb/s total bandwidth. Neousys names 19-inch rack-mount and off-the-shelf box AOI systems as typical hosts, running Windows or Linux.

Capture, pre-processing and inference all run on the onboard module, which has 8GB LPDDR5 at 3200 MHz, an Ampere GPU and an Arm Cortex CPU with JetPack bundled. That keeps deep-learning vision work off the host. Neousys lists package inspection, object sorting, surface defect detection, assembly verification and robotic guidance as uses. The PCIe-NX156-JON16 carries the 16GB module, and the PCIe-NX154-JON8 uses the same 8GB module with four 2.5GbE PoE+ ports for GigE cameras.

Operating temperature is -25 to 60 °C with airflow in 20W TDP mode, and Neousys requires a wide-temperature NVMe below 0 °C or above 60 °C. Storage is -40 to 85 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing. The single-slot, half-length card measures 167.7 x 111 mm and weighs 0.4 kg. Development ports include Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 2.0 and micro USB OTG, plus a 4K60 DisplayPort and a 12 V DC input for standalone development or loads above 66 W. EMC is CE and FCC Class A to EN 55032 and EN 55035.
