Neousys POC-400 Intel Atom x6425E DIN Rail Computers with 3x 2.5GbE and Optional PoE+
The Neousys POC-400 series is a family of fanless DIN rail computers on the quad-core Intel Atom x6425E, with three 2.5GbE ports, two 4K DisplayPort outputs, four COM ports and an M.2 E key socket for Wi-Fi or an AI accelerator. A MezIO port adds isolated DIO, serial, ignition control or storage. The POC-400 adds PoE+ on two ports; the POC-410 does not.
- Three 2.5GbE Ports: Three 2.5GBASE-T ports by Intel I226-IT or I225-IT, with PoE+ on two ports and a 50 W budget on the POC-400.
- Intel Atom x6425E: Four cores at up to 3.0 GHz and 12 W, with up to 32 GB DDR4-3200 and Intel UHD Graphics.
- Dual 4K DisplayPort: Two DisplayPort outputs at 4096 x 2160 for HMI screens, signage or monitoring walls.
- MezIO and M.2 Expansion: A MezIO port for DIO, serial, USB or ignition modules, and an M.2 E key socket for Wi-Fi or an Edge TPU.
- DIN Rail, 8 to 35 V DC: Fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C on a DIN rail, with front-facing I/O and MIL-STD-810G ratings.

POC-400 Description
Control cabinets fill up quickly, and a computer that mounts on the DIN rail beside the PLCs and power supplies saves a separate shelf or enclosure. The Neousys POC-400 series is a fanless DIN rail computer for that space, with every connector on the front face so it can be wired and serviced without unclipping it. It suits machine control, vision inspection, small video analytics sites and industrial gateways, and runs from -25 °C to 70 °C on 8 to 35 V DC.
Inside is the Intel Atom x6425E, a four-core Elkhart Lake processor at 2.0 GHz with a 3.0 GHz burst and a 12 W TDP, with up to 32 GB of DDR4-3200 in one SO-DIMM socket. Neousys rates the Elkhart Lake generation at 1.8 times the CPU and twice the graphics performance of the Atom it replaces, and the integrated Intel UHD Graphics drive two DisplayPort outputs at 4096 x 2160. Storage is an M.2 2280 M key socket for a SATA SSD, and an M.2 2230 E key socket takes Wi-Fi, a Google Edge TPU or an Intel Movidius VPU module for light AI inference. Security is fTPM 2.0.
There are two versions. The POC-400 has three 2.5GBASE-T ports by Intel I226-IT or I225-IT controllers, two of them with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and a 50 W total budget, so it can power two IP or NBASE-T cameras. The POC-410 keeps three 2.5GbE ports without PoE for network and machine data. Both are backwards compatible with 1 Gbps, 100 Mbps and 10 Mbps devices.
Both versions share two USB 3.1 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports, a software-programmable RS-232/422/485 port and a second DB9 that carries three three-wire RS-232 ports or one RS-422/485 port, with an optional mic-in and speaker-out jack. The MezIO port takes a Neousys module with isolated digital I/O, more serial ports, four more USB 3.1 ports, a 2.5-inch drive bay, or ignition control with a mini PCIe socket for 4G. The chassis meets MIL-STD-810G for vibration and shock and carries CE and FCC Class A, with DIN rail mounting as standard and wall mounting as an option.

Official Neousys UK Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Neousys UK distributor, and we supply the POC-400 series configured and tested: memory, SATA SSD, any MezIO module, Wi-Fi or AI accelerator module and the operating system image are fitted before the unit ships. Within the Neousys POC range, the POC-40 series is a smaller Elkhart Lake computer for simpler jobs, and the POC-600 series moves to the Atom x7425E with three 2.5GbE ports and PoE+. For more CPU and an NPU, the POC-900 series runs an AMD Ryzen PRO 8640U on a DIN rail, and our team can help choose the MezIO module for a project.
Across our range, the POC-400 series sits with our DIN rail PCs, our PoE computers and our Intel Elkhart Lake computers.
