Neousys POC-465AWP Intel Atom x6425E IP66 Rugged Mini PC with M12 2.5GbE and Isolated COM Ports

Farms, mines, quarries and coastal sites are hard on electronics: dust, hose-down cleaning, salt air and high humidity all find their way into a vented box. The Neousys POC-465AWP is an IP66 waterproof computer for those sites, with an air-tight stainless steel and aluminium chassis that keeps the circuit boards away from corrosion and dirt. AWP stands for affordability, waterproof and protection, and the unit needs no extra enclosure.

Inside is the Intel Atom x6425E, a four-core Elkhart Lake processor at 2.0 GHz with a 3.0 GHz burst and a 12 W TDP, with up to 32 GB of DDR4-3200 in one SO-DIMM socket, with TPM 2.0 for security. Storage is an M.2 2280 SATA SSD, and a full-size mini PCIe socket with an internal micro SIM socket takes a 4G or Wi-Fi module. Intel UHD Graphics drive a VGA output at 1920 x 1200 for a local screen.

Every connector on the POC-465AWP is sealed. Two 2.5GbE ports by Intel I226-IT controllers sit on M12 X-coded connectors, while the VGA output, two USB 2.0 ports, an isolated RS-232 port, an isolated RS-422/485 port and the DC input use M12 A-coded connectors. A Neousys cable kit brings them out to RJ45, USB, DB9, VGA and a power terminal where a cabinet or vehicle needs standard plugs.

Power is 8 to 35 V DC with ignition control, so the unit can run in vehicles and mobile machines as well as at fixed sites. It runs fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C, meets MIL-STD-810G for vibration and shock and carries CE and FCC Class A.
