Nexcom APPD 1901T 19″ Flush Resistive Touch Industrial Monitor with 1280 x 1024 SXGA LCD and Front IP65

Control desks that show several camera feeds or a dense process mimic need more screen area, but the software behind them is often drawn at 1280 x 1024 rather than widescreen. The APPD 1901T is the largest model in Nexcom’s APPD range of flush touch monitors, with a 19 inch 1280 x 1024 panel: a 19 inch industrial touch monitor with a 1280 x 1024 SXGA LCD at 350 nits behind a flush 5-wire resistive touch panel, set in an IP65-compliant front bezel for panel mounting.

The 19 inch LED-backlit LCD runs at 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) with 350 nits brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically, showing 16.7 million colours. The flush 5-wire resistive touch panel has 81% light transmission and connects to the host over USB or RS-232, so it works with current industrial PCs and with controllers that expect a serial touch interface.

Video inputs are VGA on a DB15 connector, DVI-D on a DVI-I connector and DisplayPort, which lets the APPD 1901T take a feed from older controllers with analogue output as well as current computers. An OSD keypad with a multilanguage on-screen menu sets the picture on site. Nexcom names it as a second display for its NISE fanless computers, NViS surveillance systems and APPC panel PCs. Within the range, the APPD 1701T is the 17 inch version at the same 1280 x 1024 resolution for smaller cut-outs.

Power is 12 to 24 V DC on a three-pin Phoenix terminal block, with an optional 12 V 60 W AC/DC adapter. The APPD 1901T operates from -5 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, is shock-tested to 20 G under IEC 68-2-27 when wall mounted and vibration-tested from 5 to 500 Hz, and carries CE and FCC Class B marks. It measures 457.64 x 379.24 x 49.15 mm, weighs 5.5 kg and fits a 436 x 366 mm cut-out in panels up to 3 mm thick, with wall, stand and 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting as alternatives.
