Premio ACO-6000-RPL Intel 13th Gen Core i7/i5 Rugged Embedded PC with Ignition Control, 6x COM and Extended Temperature

On a train or a service vehicle, a computer has to ride out vibration and an unsteady power feed, then shut down cleanly when the ignition goes off. The Premio ACO-6000-RPL is a fanless rugged embedded PC built for that railway and in-vehicle work, with power ignition management, an extruded aluminium heatsink chassis and EMC to EN 50121-3-2 (the EN 50155 EMC clause).

Standard builds use LGA 1700 Intel Core processors, the i7-13700TE, i5-13500TE, i7-12700TE or i5-12500TE, all at 35 W, on an Intel W680E chipset. 14th Gen and Core Series 2 (Bartlett Lake-S) processors are available by project. Two DDR5 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 96 GB at 4800 or 5600 MT/s, ECC or non-ECC, and Intel UHD Graphics 770 drives two DisplayPort outputs and a DVI-I port for three independent displays. Windows 11 and Linux are supported, with TPM 2.0.

There are two Intel I226 2.5GbE ports with TSN, eight USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, six RS-232/422/485 ports (four internal), two CAN 2.0 A/B headers and eight isolated digital inputs with eight outputs. Storage covers two hot-swappable 2.5″ SATA SSD bays, an internal 2.5″ bay, mSATA and an M.2 B key socket for NVMe or a 4G/5G module, with RAID 0 and 1. Two Mini PCIe slots, an M.2 E key socket and two SIM sockets handle wireless, and an optional four-port GbE module (RJ45 or M12) fits a universal I/O bracket.

Power is 12 to 48 V DC on a 5-pin terminal block, with AT and ATX modes and an optional AC/DC adapter. The unit runs from -25 °C to 70 °C with 35 W and 45 W processors and to 60 °C with 65 W, and it is designed to comply with MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration. It carries CE, FCC Class A, UKCA and UL 62368-1 marks and mounts on a wall. We supply the ACO-6000-RPL configured and tested, with memory, SSDs, the OS image and any wireless modules fitted. The RCO-6000-RPL uses the same processors with EDGEBoost I/O brackets, and the ACO-6000-CML is the earlier Comet Lake model.
