On presses, conveyors and mobile machines, vibration slowly works RJ45 plugs loose, and the fault often shows up as an intermittent link. The RCO-6000-ADL-4LM12 is the Intel Core i5-12500E rugged industrial computer with 4x M12 GbE LAN in the Premio RCO-6000-ADL series, using screw-locking M12 connectors to avoid that failure.
Under the RCO-6000-ADL-4LM12 sits an LGA1700 socket on the Intel R680E chipset, which takes 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core processors at 35 W or 65 W, from Core i3 to Core i9-13900E, plus Pentium G7400E and Celeron G6900E. Two DDR5 SODIMM sockets hold up to 64 GB at up to 5600 MHz with ECC support, and Intel UHD Graphics drives DVI-I plus two DisplayPort outputs for three screens. The RCO-6000-ADL-4LM12 title names the Core i5-12500E, a 65 W six-core part rated to 60 °C in this enclosure, though any series processor can be fitted.
One EDGEBoost I/O bracket on the RCO-6000-ADL-4LM12 carries a four-port Intel I350 GbE module with M12 connectors, with the two onboard 2.5GbE ports on RJ45 and the second bracket free. The rest of the I/O is common to the range: two Intel I226 2.5GbE ports with TSN, six RS-232/422/485 ports, 8 in/8 out isolated DIO, two CAN 2.0 A/B headers, eight USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and two 2.5 inch bays, one removable, with RAID 0 and 1.
Power comes in at 9 to 48 V DC on a 5-pin terminal block with ignition management, a PC/Car mode switch and protection against over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity. Premio rates the RCO-6000-ADL-4LM12 fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C with 35 W processors or -25 °C to 60 °C at 65 W, and lists CE and FCC Class A. For eight M12 ports, the RCO-6000-ADL-8LM12 fills both brackets, and the RCO-6000-ADL-4PM12 adds PoE to four M12 ports.
