Premio RCO-6000-ADL-M2MK Intel Core i7-12700E Alder Lake Rugged Industrial Computer with 8x USB 3.2 and 2x 2.5GbE

Many M.2 AI accelerators are designed for an M-key slot with four PCIe lanes, which a B-key slot cannot provide. The RCO-6000-ADL-M2MK is the Intel Core i7-12700E Alder Lake rugged industrial computer with 8x USB 3.2 and 2x 2.5GbE in the Premio RCO-6000-ADL series, and its EDGEBoost module adds that PCIe x4 M-key slot.

Under the RCO-6000-ADL-M2MK sits an LGA1700 socket on the Intel R680E chipset, which takes 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core processors at 35 W or 65 W, from Core i3 to Core i9-13900E, plus Pentium G7400E and Celeron G6900E. Two DDR5 SODIMM sockets hold up to 64 GB at up to 5600 MHz with ECC support, and Intel UHD Graphics drives DVI-I plus two DisplayPort outputs for three screens. The RCO-6000-ADL-M2MK title names the Core i7-12700E, a 65 W 12-core part rated to 60 °C here, with 35 W TE processors available for the full 70 °C rating.

One EDGEBoost I/O bracket on the RCO-6000-ADL-M2MK carries a module with a PCIe x4 M.2 M-key slot for 2242 or 2260 AI modules and NVMe, and the eight onboard USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports remain free. The rest of the I/O is common to the range: two Intel I226 2.5GbE ports with TSN, six RS-232/422/485 ports, 8 in/8 out isolated DIO, two CAN 2.0 A/B headers, eight USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and two 2.5 inch bays, one removable, with RAID 0 and 1.

Power comes in at 9 to 48 V DC on a 5-pin terminal block with ignition management, a PC/Car mode switch and protection against over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity. Premio rates the RCO-6000-ADL-M2MK fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C with 35 W processors or -25 °C to 60 °C at 65 W, and lists CE and FCC Class A. For three M.2 B-key slots instead, the RCO-6000-ADL-2M2BK suits smaller modules, and the RCO-6000-ADL-D10G adds 10GbE for high-resolution cameras.
