IBOX-600-M12X-ON4 Overview
Fleet roll-outs multiply every per-unit decision, so the module tier matters as much as the connector set. The IBOX-600-M12X-ON4 is the Jetson Orin Nano 4GB build of the Sintrones IBOX-600 series, a compact rugged embedded PC that keeps M12 locking LAN and power connectors at the entry module tier for rolling stock and vehicle fleets.
The Jetson Orin Nano 4GB module provides 512 CUDA cores and 16 Tensor Cores on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture, a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU at 1.5 GHz and 4 GB of 64-bit LPDDR5. It suits single-camera detection, classification and sensor fusion tasks, and the system supports JetPack 6.2 Super Mode. Sintrones measured 27.36 W at a 24 V input with the module in its 10 W mode, and around 10 W at idle.
On the IBOX-600-M12X-ON4, the 2.5GbE port and the GbE port sit on M12 X-coded connectors, and the 9-60 V DC input uses an M12 K-coded connector with ignition sensing, so every cable most exposed to vibration screws into place. Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports share 10 Gbps, and three DB-9 ports carry CAN FD, RS-232/422/485 and four digital inputs with four outputs, alongside HDMI with 4K output. Inside, an M.2 Key B slot with a Nano SIM takes an LTE or 5G modem, an M.2 Key E slot takes Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, a full-size mPCIe slot takes a GPS module, and an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD holds the OS.
The fanless aluminium enclosure is 150 x 135 x 69 mm and 1.37 kg, with DIN-rail and wall mounting. It operates from -25 °C to 70 °C ambient with 0.6 m/s airflow, is tested to IEC 60068-2-64 and MIL-STD-810G for vibration and 15 G shock, and is compliant with EN 50155, EN 45545-2 (R25) and E-Mark. If the models grow, the IBOX-600-M12X-ON8 doubles module memory in the same connector build. The IBOX-600-M12X-ON4 gives a rugged embedded PC fleet a low-power starting point.
