Sintrones SBOX-2623 AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 Small Industrial PC with 4x COM and Wide-Range DC Input

Machine control and signage installs often meet in the same small box: a couple of displays, a few serial devices and whatever supply the cabinet happens to have. The Sintrones SBOX-2623 is a small industrial PC built for that mix, with four serial ports, three display outputs and a 9 to 36 V DC input in a 50 mm high fanless enclosure.

Compute is an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 with two cores and four threads and AMD Radeon Graphics, with up to 32 GB of DDR4-2400 on one SO-DIMM, ECC support with ECC memory and TPM 2.0. The SBOX-2623 drives a single-link DVI-D output and two HDMI 2.0b outputs at up to 4K at 60 Hz, and supports Windows 10 and 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

Four RS-232/422/485 ports cover PLCs, meters and scanners, alongside two Intel I210-AT GbE ports, a GPIO port with four inputs and four outputs at 5 V TTL, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 ports and line-out and mic-in audio. Storage is an M.2 2280 NVMe or SATA SSD and a 2.5-inch SATA SSD. An M.2 Key B slot takes 4G or 5G with dual SIM, an M.2 Key E slot takes Wi-Fi and a full-size Mini PCIe socket can take a CAN bus module.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on a two-pin terminal block with over-voltage and reverse-polarity protection. The SBOX-2623 runs fanless from -30 °C to 60 °C with an SSD and 0.6 m/s airflow, measures 210 x 171 x 50 mm, weighs 1.7 kg and wall-mounts as standard, with optional VESA and DIN rail kits. It carries CE, FCC Class A and UKCA compliance, and suits control cabinets, kiosks and machine enclosures where space is tight.
