Sintrones SBOX-2624P AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 Embedded Box PC with 4x 802.3af PoE

A handful of IP cameras or sensors at a gate, a line or a vehicle bay normally means a small PoE switch beside the computer, with another supply to find. The Sintrones SBOX-2624P is the PoE embedded box PC in the SBOX-2624 series, powering four devices from its own GbE ports and sending their data on over 2.5GbE.

Compute is an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 with two cores and four threads and AMD Radeon Graphics, with up to 32 GB of DDR4-2400 on one SO-DIMM, ECC support with ECC memory and TPM 2.0. Two HDMI 2.0b outputs run at up to 4K at 60 Hz, and Windows 10 and 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 LTS are supported.

Networking is four GbE ports from a Marvell Ethernet switch with PoE at up to 15 W per port (PSE Class 3) from a 60 W budget, sharing a 1GbE link, plus one 2.5GbE port, all on RJ45. The SBOX-2624P adds two RS-232/422/485 and two RS-232 ports, four digital inputs and four outputs, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 ports and line-out and mic-in audio. Storage is an M.2 2280 NVMe or SATA SSD, with an M.2 Key B slot for 4G or 5G and an M.2 Key E slot for Wi-Fi.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC (nominal 12 V or 24 V). The SBOX-2624P runs fanless from -30 °C to 60 °C with an SSD and 0.6 m/s airflow in a 150 x 150 x 65 mm aluminium enclosure weighing 1.5 kg, and carries EN 50155 with EN 50121-3-2 EMC compliance, plus UKCA, CE and FCC Class A. Within the series, the SBOX-2624 trades PoE for six COM ports and a 2.5-inch drive bay.
