Vecow EAC-3000-R64 NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier 64GB Fanless Industrial Embedded Computer

Mixed camera estates are common in vehicles and on site machinery: automotive GMSL cameras close to the machine and IP cameras further out, all feeding one inference computer. The EAC-3000-R64 is the 64 GB build of the Vecow EAC-3000 series, an industrial embedded computer that takes both, with eight GMSL inputs and four PoE+ ports around the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier.

The Jetson AGX Xavier combines an 8-core NVIDIA Carmel Arm v8.2 CPU with a 512-core Volta GPU, 64 Tensor cores and two NVDLA engines, and Vecow quotes up to 32 TOPS. With 64 GB LPDDR4x, the EAC-3000-R64 has room for larger models or several networks running together, and the encoder handles up to four 4K streams at 60 fps in HEVC. It runs Ubuntu 18.04 with JetPack.

Four IEEE 802.3at GbE PoE+ ports deliver 25.5 W each to IP cameras or sensors, and a fifth GbE port carries the uplink. Eight Fakra-Z connectors accept GMSL 1 or GMSL 2 automotive cameras, while four USB 3.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports and two CAN FD ports with optional isolation link the computer to vehicle and machine systems. Storage covers an M.2 Key M 2280 socket, 32 GB eMMC and microSD, and two SIM sockets with M.2 Key B and Key E support 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi.

The EAC-3000-R64 takes 9 V to 50 V DC with 16-mode software ignition control and runs without a fan from -20°C to 70°C in 30 W mode. Shock and vibration are tested to MIL-STD-810G, Vecow lists EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC compliance, and the enclosure measures 212.6 x 149.0 x 60.4 mm. Where the model set fits in 32 GB, the EAC-3000-R32 keeps the same I/O.
