EAC-3000-R32 Overview
Camera analytics on vehicles and machinery often needs PoE for IP cameras and GMSL for automotive cameras on the same computer, without moving to the largest memory configuration. The EAC-3000-R32 is the 32 GB build of the Vecow EAC-3000 series, an industrial embedded computer built around the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier with four PoE+ ports and eight GMSL inputs.
The Jetson AGX Xavier pairs an 8-core NVIDIA Carmel Arm v8.2 CPU with a 512-core Volta GPU, 64 Tensor cores and two NVDLA engines, and Vecow quotes up to 32 TOPS. With 32 GB LPDDR4x, the EAC-3000-R32 suits detection, tracking and inspection models that fit within that memory, and the decoder handles up to two 8K streams at 30 fps in HEVC. It runs Ubuntu 18.04 with JetPack.
Four IEEE 802.3at GbE PoE+ ports supply 25.5 W each, with a fifth GbE port for the network uplink. Eight Fakra-Z connectors take GMSL 1 or GMSL 2 automotive cameras, and four USB 3.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports and two CAN FD ports with optional isolation cover peripherals and vehicle links. Storage runs to an M.2 Key M 2280 socket, 32 GB eMMC and microSD, and two digital display outputs reach 4K at 30 Hz for local monitoring.
Power is 9 V to 50 V DC through a terminal block with 16-mode software ignition control, and the EAC-3000-R32 runs fanless from -20°C to 70°C in 30 W mode. Shock and vibration are tested to MIL-STD-810G, with EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings. Two SIM sockets and six antenna positions support 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi. For larger models, the EAC-3000-R64 doubles the memory to 64 GB.

Official Vecow UK Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Vecow UK distributor, supplying the EAC-3000-R32 for UK camera analytics and vehicle projects. In Vecow's Jetson range, the EAC-5000 series steps up to the Jetson AGX Orin with PCIe expansion, and the EAC-6200 series pairs a Jetson Orin NX with PoE+ for machine vision.
Its Jetson AGX Xavier module places it among our NVIDIA Jetson computers, and the PoE+ camera ports suit it to our NVIDIA Jetson PoE systems. For a compact Xavier NX build with four GMSL inputs, the EAC-2100 covers smaller camera counts in a 150.4 x 106.2 mm footprint.
