Vecow EAC-6200 NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX Machine Vision PCs with PoE+
The Vecow EAC-6200 series is a family of machine vision PCs built on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module in 8GB or 16GB form, with a 1024-core Ampere GPU. Each unit adds four IEEE 802.3at GbE PoE+ camera ports to two GbE LAN, CAN FD, dual SIM and a 9-50 V DC input with ignition control. The EAC-6200 series suits high-speed AOI, medical imaging and mobile robot vision deployments.
- NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX: Orin NX 8GB or 16GB module with a 1024-core Ampere GPU and 32 Tensor cores, on Linux and JetPack.
- 4x GbE PoE+ Camera Ports: Four IEEE 802.3at GbE PoE+ ports at 25.5 W each power GigE cameras without a separate switch.
- CAN FD, Serial and GPIO: One CAN FD port, two COM RS-232/422/485 ports and 7-bit GPIO for triggers and machine control.
- 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi Ready: Two M.2 Key B sockets, an M.2 Key E socket and dual SIM sockets for cellular and wireless links.
- 9-50 V DC and MIL-STD-810G: 9 V to 50 V DC with ignition control, MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration and EN 50155 EMC listings.

EAC-6200 Description
Camera-based inspection usually brings a computer, a PoE switch and a power supply into the same cabinet, and every extra box is another thing to wire and maintain. The Vecow EAC-6200 series folds the switch into the computer: machine vision PCs with four IEEE 802.3at GbE PoE+ ports built around the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module. Fewer boxes means fewer power supplies to fuse, fewer cables to route and fewer things to check when a line stops.
Both EAC-6200 models share one design. The Orin NX module brings a 1024-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor cores, Linux and the JetPack SDK, with HEVC encoding of up to one 4K stream at 60 fps. Beside the four PoE+ ports sit two GbE LAN ports, all on RJ45 with optional X-coded M12, plus a CAN FD port, two COM ports, three USB 3.1 ports, 7-bit GPIO and an M.2 NVMe SSD. Two M.2 Key B sockets, an M.2 Key E socket and dual SIM sockets take 5G, 4G or Wi-Fi. The display output drives a local HMI or inspection screen.
The two models differ by module. The EAC-6200-R16 carries the Orin NX 16GB with an 8-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU and two NVDLA engines, rated by Vecow at up to 100 TOPS, for cells running several models at once. The EAC-6200-R08 uses the Orin NX 8GB with a 6-core CPU and one NVDLA engine, a lower-cost fit for single-model inspection stations. Both run the same software image, so a project can start on one module and move to the other as the model count changes, without rewiring cameras or controls.
EAC-6200 machine vision PCs typically serve high-speed AOI, medical imaging and mobile robot vision. A 9 V to 50 V DC input with 16-mode software ignition control suits machine and vehicle power, and the 193 x 132 x 80 mm, 1.9 kg unit is rated from -20 °C to 70 °C in 15 W mode, with MIL-STD-810G operating shock and vibration and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings. Wall mounting is standard, with a DIN-rail kit optional, so the computer can sit on the machine frame close to its cameras.

Official Vecow UK Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Vecow UK distributor, supplying the EAC-6200 range for UK inspection, imaging and robot vision projects. Within Vecow's range, the EAC-6100 series takes four GMSL automotive cameras on Fakra-Z connectors with CAN FD, and the EAC-6000 series keeps the Orin NX core in a smaller 55 mm body with two GbE ports.
With its PoE+ camera ports the EAC-6200 sits among our NVIDIA Jetson PoE systems and our rugged Jetson computers. The EAC-5100 series steps up to Jetson AGX Orin with four PoE+ ports and a PCIe x8 slot, and the EAC-7000 series moves to NVIDIA Jetson Thor for heavier robotics workloads.
