Not every onboard recorder needs an i7. The ECS-4700-PoER-1345UE keeps the removable storage and PoE+ of its i7 sibling but runs the 10-core Core i5-1345UE, making it the cost-conscious fanless marine computer with swappable drives in the Vecow ECS-4700 series.
The 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1345UE in the ECS-4700-PoER-1345UE is a 10-core Raptor Lake-P processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, typically enough for recording, logging and display duties without the cost of an i7. Vecow pairs it with two DDR5 5200 MHz SO-DIMM slots for up to 96 GB, and Intel vPro, TSN, TCC and TPM 2.0 support remote management, deterministic networking and hardware-based security. Up to four 4K displays run from two DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, HDMI 2.0 and the USB-C port.
Networking pairs two Intel I226 2.5GbE ports with four GbE PoE+ ports on Intel I350, each rated to 25.5 W within a 35 W total budget, so IP cameras and sensors run from the ECS-4700-PoER-1345UE itself. Two front-access 2.5″ SSD trays with software RAID 0 or 1 sit alongside an M.2 Key M PCIe x4 slot, so recorded data can be removed and replaced in minutes. Four RS-232/422/485 COM ports, 16 isolated DIO, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C at 20 Gbps and M.2 Key B and Key E sockets for 5G, 4G or Wi-Fi with a nano SIM cover the remaining I/O.
The fanless 48.1 mm chassis runs from -25 °C to 75 °C on redundant 9-50 V DC inputs with 16-mode software ignition control, and carries EN 60945, EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings with IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and IEC 60068-2-27 shock. If the workload grows, the ECS-4700-PoER-1365UE moves to the Core i7-1365UE in the same layout.
