Vecow SPC-7100 Intel 11th Gen Core Tiger Lake Wide Temperature Embedded Computers

The hardest part of an outdoor or mobile installation is often the temperature, not the workload. A cabinet beside a track or a computer in a vehicle bay can see frost at dawn and heat by the afternoon, with no room or budget for active cooling. The Vecow SPC-7100 series answers that with wide temperature embedded computers that run 11th Gen Intel Core Tiger Lake processors without a fan from -40°C to 75°C at a 15 W processor setting.

Every SPC-7100 shares the same design. A quad-core Tiger Lake UP3 processor at 12 W or 15 W TDP sits with one DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMM slot for up to 32 GB, and Intel Iris Xe graphics drive two DisplayPort outputs at up to 4096 x 2304. An Intel I225-IT 2.5GbE port supports Time-Sensitive Networking, an Intel I219LM GbE port adds iAMT, and two RS-232/422/485 ports, four external USB ports, one SATA III port, an M.2 Key B 2260 socket, a nano SIM socket and M.2 Key E for Wi-Fi complete the I/O. The heat-sink enclosure measures 150.4 x 106.2 x 57.0 mm and weighs 1.3 kg.

The range splits on processor. The SPC-7100-1185G7E carries the Core i7-1185G7E, the higher tier for vision pre-processing, OpenVINO inference and dual-display HMI. The SPC-7100-1145G7E carries the Core i5-1145G7E for control, protocol gateway and data-logging roles. Both SPC-7100 models share the same I/O, mounting and temperature rating, so one mechanical design can cover several projects with the processor chosen per job. Both run Windows 10 or Linux and accept the same optional 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi modules, and the same enclosure footprint as the lower SPC-7000 series keeps panel cut-outs and brackets consistent if a site later needs the shorter design.

SPC-7100 computers typically serve in-vehicle systems, rail and trackside cabinets, outdoor kiosks and factory automation where cooling is limited. A 9 V to 55 V DC input with 16-mode ignition control suits vehicle power, Vecow lists EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC compliance, and shock and vibration are tested to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-64. Wall mounting is standard, with DIN rail and VESA kits available, and TPM 2.0 supports secure boot on Windows 10 and Linux.
