Vecow SPC-7000 Intel 11th Gen Core Tiger Lake Ultra-Compact Embedded Computers

Compact machines, kiosks and mobile robots usually give the computer whatever space is left once the mechanics are in. The Vecow SPC-7000 series is designed for that space: ultra-compact embedded computers that put an 11th Gen Intel Core Tiger Lake processor into a fanless enclosure of 150.4 x 106.2 x 44.2 mm, weighing 0.9 kg, with the networking and serial I/O an industrial project expects.

Every SPC-7000 shares the same design. A quad-core Tiger Lake UP3 processor at 12 W or 15 W TDP works with one DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMM slot for up to 32 GB, and Intel Iris Xe graphics drive two DisplayPort outputs at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz. An Intel I225-IT 2.5GbE port supports Time-Sensitive Networking for synchronised motion and data, while an Intel I219LM GbE port adds iAMT. Two RS-232/422/485 ports, four external USB ports, one SATA III port, an M.2 Key B 2260 socket, a nano SIM socket and M.2 Key E for Wi-Fi round out the I/O, and TPM 2.0 is fitted.

The range splits on processor. The SPC-7000-1185G7E carries the Core i7-1185G7E, the higher tier for vision pre-processing, OpenVINO inference and dual-display HMI. The SPC-7000-1145G7E carries the Core i5-1145G7E for machine control, protocol gateway and data-logging roles. Both SPC-7000 models share the same I/O, mounting and temperature rating, so the processor can be chosen per project without changing the mechanical design. Both run Windows 10 or Linux, take the same optional 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi modules, and share the 16-mode ignition settings, which keeps software images and wiring consistent across a fleet.

SPC-7000 computers typically serve AMRs, self-service kiosks, gaming and retail terminals, machine control and in-vehicle systems. A 9 V to 55 V DC input with 16-mode ignition control suits vehicle and battery power, and the heat-spreader enclosure runs from -40°C to 60°C at 15 W. Vecow lists EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC compliance, shock and vibration are tested to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-64, and wall mounting is standard with DIN rail and VESA kits available. Where a site needs a wider temperature range, the SPC-7100 series uses the same processors in a taller heat-sink enclosure.
