Vecow ECX-3000-PoE AI Intel Core i9-13900E Hailo-8 AI Edge Computer with 4x 2.5GbE PoE

Multi-camera vision usually means a PoE switch, a power supply for it and another box in the cabinet. The ECX-3000-PoE AI removes that step by powering four IEEE 802.3at cameras from its own 2.5GbE ports. It is the PoE+ AI edge computer in the Vecow ECX-3000 AI series, with a Hailo-8 accelerator handling detection while the Intel CPU runs the application.

The ECX-3000-PoE AI runs 12th or 13th Gen Intel Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 processors on the Intel R680E chipset, up to the 24-core Core i9-13900E at 65 W TDP, with two DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMMs for up to 64 GB. The Hailo-8 AI processor adds up to 26 TOPS for TensorFlow and ONNX models, so detection and classification run on the accelerator while the CPU handles the application, and Intel UHD Graphics 770 drives up to four displays over two DisplayPort, DVI-I and HDMI.

Networking on the ECX-3000-PoE AI is six ports: four 2.5GbE IEEE 802.3at PoE+ ports at 25.5 W each for cameras, one 2.5GbE port with TSN and one GbE port with iAMT. Storage fits internally on mSATA or an M.2 Key B SSD. Six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four COM ports, 16 isolated DIO, a Mini PCIe socket, M.2 Key B and Key E sockets and two external SIM sockets cover field I/O and 4G, 5G or Wi-Fi modules.

The AI edge computer runs on 9 V to 50 V DC through a terminal block or 4-pin Mini-DIN, with 16-mode software ignition control for vehicle installs. Fanless operation is rated from -40 °C to 65 °C with 35 W processors and -40 °C to 45 °C with 65 W parts, backed by IEC 60068 shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings.
