Vecow PE-9002 Intel E610-XAIT2 2-Port 10GbE 802.3at PoE+ Frame Grabber Card for -40 to 70 °C

Two 10GbE cameras on one host, in an enclosure that runs cold in winter and hot in summer, call for a card that keeps the full link rate and powers both cameras. The PE-9002 is the two-port model in the PE-9000 series from Vecow, built around the Intel E610-XAIT2. We supply it configured and tested, with the card fitted in the host and the PoE budget checked against the cameras.

One Intel E610-XAIT2 controller drives both ports and connects to the host over PCI Express Gen 4 x4. The controller supports jumbo frames up to 9728 bytes, PXE boot, Intel Virtualization Technology and Intel Ethernet power management, with 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet to cut power on idle links. IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol helps keep timestamps aligned between the two cameras.

The two RJ45 ports run at 10 Gbps, 5 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 1 Gbps or 100 Mbps, so NBASE-T and older Gigabit cameras connect as well as 10GbE models. Each port supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at and supplies up to 25.5 W at 48 V DC, with PoE on/off control. PoE power comes from one 4-pin 12 V connector. The PE-9004 doubles the count to four ports, and the PE-5002 carries two 10GBASE-T PoE+ ports on an Intel X550-AT2 controller.

Vecow rates the PE-9002 from -40 °C to 70 °C in operation and from -40 °C to 85 °C in storage, with humidity from 5% to 95% non-condensing. The card has a full-height bracket. Vecow lists Windows 11 and Linux support, and the datasheet shows CE and FCC under EMC with the RoHS mark.
