Winmate M101EKB 8″ Vehicle Mount Rugged Tablet with Intel Celeron N6211 and QWERTY Keypad

Order picking, stock checks and delivery records often involve more typing than a touchscreen keyboard handles comfortably, especially in gloves. The M101EKB is Winmate’s 8″ rugged Windows tablet with a backlit QWERTY keypad built into the housing, an Intel Celeron N6211 and an IP65 rating, suited to vehicle mount use in warehouses and logistics.

The Celeron N6211 runs at 1.2 GHz with turbo up to 3.0 GHz, and an Intel Pentium N6415 is an option. Memory is 4 GB as standard with 8 GB optional, and storage is a 128 GB SSD with 256 GB and 512 GB options plus a micro SD slot that takes SDXC cards. TPM 2.0 and a Kensington lock slot are included, with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC installed. The 8 inch 1280 x 800 screen gives 800 nits and 1500:1 contrast with optical bonding, and its touch supports gloves and rain.

The keypad follows ISO/IEC 9995-3, is backlit and sealed to IP65, and adds ten function keys programmable through Winmate’s Hottab utility. Connections are one USB 3.0 Type-A port, one USB 3.0 Type-C port with 20 V Power Delivery input, an optional Micro HDMI output and a 19-pin docking connector. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou are built in, with 4G or 5G optional, and an 8MP autofocus rear camera is fitted. Within the Winmate range the M900EK is an 8 inch Celeron N6211 tablet without the keypad, and the M101EK is the 10.1 inch model.

The M101EKB is tested to MIL-STD-810H methods for shock, vibration and a 4 ft drop, and operates from -20 °C to 60 °C. Winmate quotes around eight hours from the hot-swappable 5900 mAh battery and 13 from the optional high-capacity pack. Power is 19 V DC, with an AC adapter and capacitive stylus supplied. A vehicle dock, vehicle cradle, VESA kit, barcode reader and RFID are optional. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch, ready to deploy.
