FCCR12IAN3S-OFM2 Overview
For machine builders who design their own front panel, an open frame panel PC puts the display and the computer in one module that drops into the enclosure. The R12IAN3S-OFM2 is Winmate’s 12.1 inch open frame panel PC: a 12.1″ 1024 x 768 display at 500 nits with 1000:1 contrast and wide viewing angles, a quad-core Intel N150 and a fanless metal frame. Resistive touch or plain protection glass are options, and Winmate points it at machine control, factory automation and operator HMI.
Inside is an Intel Processor N150, a quad-core Twin Lake chip at up to 3.6 GHz with Intel Graphics, typically enough for HMI runtimes and SCADA clients without a fan. One DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM holds 8 GB, or 16 GB as an option. A 128 GB SSD is standard with options to 2 TB, or an optional 2.5″ SATA III drive in place of the NVMe SSD. TPM 2.0 is on board, with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 24.04.
Two 2.5GbE ports can keep a plant network apart from a machine network, and the two DB9 serial ports (one RS-232/422/485, one RS-232) reach PLCs and older instruments. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode complete the set, with HDMI 2.0b and Wi-Fi as options. The R12L600-OFM2 is the open frame monitor with a 500 nit XGA panel and no computer inside, and the R12IAD3S-OFM2 is this open frame design with a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U.
As an open frame unit it builds into an OEM enclosure or machine housing, with panel and VESA mounting as options. A 100 to 240 V AC adapter is supplied for the 12 V DC input. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with CE and FCC marks. We supply the R12IAN3S-OFM2 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
