Winmate R15IE3S-SPC3-B 15″ IP65 316 Stainless Panel PC with Emergency Stop, Intel Celeron N6211 and PCAP

On many lines the operator needs a stop button and a few hard controls within reach of the HMI, and adding a separate pushbutton box means more holes and more cleaning. The R15IE3S-SPC3-B is Winmate’s 15 inch IP65 stainless steel panel PC with an emergency stop button, three flat buttons and a touch-mode switch built into the stainless front beside the PCAP screen.

The Intel Celeron N6211 is an Elkhart Lake processor, with the Celeron N6210 as an option. One DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM socket takes 4 GB as standard and 8 GB or 16 GB as options, and storage is a 128 GB M.2 2242 SSD (up to 512 GB) with a 2.5 inch SATA bay available. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied. The 15 inch 1024 x 768 panel runs at 300 nits with 2000:1 contrast, and the projected capacitive multi-touch screen switches between hand, rain and glove modes from the front rotary switch.

The emergency stop and blue button are wired to the CN1 M12 connector and the green and red buttons to CN2, with sealed cables supplied, so they connect straight to the machine controls. A waterproof USB 2.0 Type-A port sits on the front. At the rear are a Gigabit Ethernet port on a waterproof RJ45 connector, two USB 2.0 ports on M12 and an RS-232 port on M12. The R15IE3S-SPC3 is the same computer without buttons, and the W22IE3S-SPA3-B is the 21.5 inch version with push buttons.

Power is 12 V DC on an M12 connector, with 9 to 36 V DC as an option. The R15IE3S-SPC3-B is fanless, operates from 0 °C to 45 °C at 10 to 90% humidity and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 426 x 301 x 69 mm and mounts on 100 x 100 mm VESA.
