Winmate R15IW3S-67C3(HB) 15″ Full IP67 Rugged Panel PC with Intel Core i5-8265U and Resistive Touch

On an open vehicle, a quayside machine or in a wet processing area, sealing only the front of a panel PC is not enough, because water reaches the back and the cables too. The R15IW3S-67C3(HB) is Winmate’s 15 inch full IP67 panel PC, with an aluminium die-cast housing treated against corrosion, M12 waterproof connectors and shock and vibration tested to MIL-STD-810G Methods 516.6 and 514.6, Procedure I.

An Intel Core i5-8265U Whiskey Lake processor runs at 1.6 GHz with turbo up to 3.9 GHz, with one DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM holding 4 GB as standard and up to 32 GB, and TPM 2.0 fitted. Storage is an M.2 2242 B-key SSD from 128 GB, or an optional M.2 2280 NVMe SSD up to 4 TB, and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 20.04 can be supplied. The 15 inch 1024 x 768 XGA screen gives 300 nits and a 2000:1 contrast ratio with resistive touch bonded to the panel, and an optional high brightness panel reaches 1000 nits for sunlight. An ambient light sensor drives auto dimming and a day and night mode.

The I/O is sealed: two USB 2.0 ports on one M12 connector, an RS-232 port on M12, a waterproof Gigabit LAN RJ45 connector and M12 power, with cables supplied. Front keys cover power, key lock, dimming and brightness. The R10IW3S-VMT2(HB) is the 10.4 inch vehicle mount model on the same processor, and the R15IK3S-67C3(HB) is another 15 inch IP67 panel PC in the Winmate range.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC with isolation on an M12 connector, with an optional 6 to 60 V DC input and optional ignition on/off delay. The R15IW3S-67C3(HB) is fanless, operates from -10 °C to 55 °C, or from -40 °C to 70 °C with the intelligent heater, and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 398 x 308 x 58 mm, weighs 4.2 kg and mounts on 100 x 100 mm VESA or an optional yoke stand.
