Kiosk users now expect a screen to respond to a light tap and a swipe, not a firm press. The R15L100-POC3 is Winmate’s 15 inch open frame display with projected capacitive multi-touch as standard, on a 1024 x 768 panel in a fanless metal frame that mounts in a panel or on VESA holes.
The 15 inch LCD runs at 1024 x 768 with 300 nits, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 16.2M colours and 176° viewing angles. The PCAP touch screen connects to the host over USB, and an anti-glare coating is available as an option for sites with overhead lighting. Five keys on the rear control the on-screen display, so brightness and input can be set during installation.
Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI inputs available as options, and a 3.5 mm audio line-in and two speakers can be added for kiosks that need sound. The R15L100-POC3-C is the USB Type-C single-cable twin of this monitor, and the R15L100-OFA1 is the 15 inch open frame with optional resistive or SAW touch.
Power is 12 V DC, and Winmate supplies a 100 to 240 V AC adapter with a power cord, VGA and HDMI cables and VESA screws. The monitor operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and cools without a fan. It measures 358 x 276 x 42 mm, weighs 3.4 kg, mounts on 75 x 75 mm VESA holes or in a panel, and carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate names industrial visualisation, control rooms and equipment monitoring as applications.
