FCCS17L500-OFA1TR Overview
A screen that catches direct light from a window or skylight needs help beyond its own backlight. A transflective panel reflects part of the ambient light back through the image, so readability holds up as the surroundings get brighter. The S17L500-OFA1TR is Winmate’s 17 inch open frame transflective monitor: a 1280 x 1024 SXGA LCD at 400 nits with 1000:1 contrast, in an open frame built into your own enclosure.
The panel shows 16.2 million colours across an active area of 337.92 x 270.336 mm, with viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically. Touch is optional: a resistive touch screen works with gloves and styluses, while protection glass without touch suits information and status screens.
VGA is the standard video input, with HDMI and DVI available as options, and a USB port carries the touch signal to the host. An optional 3.5 mm audio line-in with twin speakers adds sound, and a five-key OSD panel on the rear sets brightness and picture. The S17L500-OFA1HB takes the other route to bright sites with a 1000 nit backlight, and the S17L500-OFM1 is the standard 350 nit version for indoor use.
The S17L500-OFA1TR runs from 12 V DC and ships with a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and VGA and HDMI cables. It operates from 0 °C to 50 °C and 10 to 90% non-condensing humidity, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C. The open frame measures 410 x 330 x 58 mm, with 75 x 75 mm VESA holes on the rear. It carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate lists industrial visualisation, control rooms and equipment monitoring as typical uses.
