FCCS17L500-STM1 Overview
On a production line that is cleaned down every shift, the screen bezel needs to stand up to the same routine as the machine around it. The S17L500-STM1 is Winmate’s 17 inch stainless steel panel mount monitor: a 1280 x 1024 SXGA LCD at 350 nits with resistive touch, set behind a stainless front bezel rated front IP65.
The panel has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and shows 16.2 million colours across an active area of 337.92 x 270.336 mm, with viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically. Resistive touch responds to gloved fingers, which suits operators in food and pharmaceutical areas, and protection glass without touch is available for display-only screens.
VGA is the standard video input, with HDMI and DVI available as options. The touch screen connects over USB Type-A or RS-232 D-sub 9, each listed as an option, which covers both PC hosts and older controllers. Power and status LEDs and five buttons handle on-screen settings. The R19L300-STM1 is the 19 inch version of this stainless monitor, and the R17L100-SPM1 pairs a stainless IP65 housing with PCAP touch at 17 inch.
The S17L500-STM1 runs from 12 V DC on a 2.5 mm DC jack and ships with a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and USB, VGA and HDMI cables. It is fanless, operates from 0 °C to 50 °C and 10 to 90% non-condensing humidity, and stores from -20 °C to 60 °C. The unit measures 440 x 360 x 67 mm and fits a 414 x 334 mm panel cut-out, with 75 x 75 mm VESA holes as an alternative. It carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate names the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries as target applications.
