Winmate W12L100-VMM9(HB) 12.1″ Rugged Resistive Touch Monitor with 10 to 60 V DC and Front IP65

In a vehicle cab or on mobile machinery the monitor has to run from an unregulated DC supply, follow the ignition and respond to a gloved finger. The W12L100-VMM9(HB) is Winmate’s 12.1 inch rugged monitor in the G-WIN VM housing for that work: a 1280 x 800 LCD with 5-wire resistive touch, isolated 10 to 60 V DC input and a front IP65 aluminium housing with anti-corrosion treatment.

The WXGA panel runs at 400 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and viewing angles of 176° horizontally and vertically, and a high brightness sunlight readable panel is available as an option for open cabs and daylight work. Anti-reflection protection glass can also be specified. The resistive touch screen responds to pressure, so it works with gloves and a stylus.

Video comes in on a VGA input, with HDMI as an option, and touch control runs over an optional USB Type-A port or an optional RS-232 D-sub 9 port. Power and status LEDs and five front buttons handle control. The R12L100-VMM2 is another 12.1 inch in-vehicle model in the G-WIN line, and the W10L100-GSH2 offers PCAP touch with full IP65 sealing and 9 to 36 V DC at 10.1 inches.

Power is isolated 10 to 60 V DC on a three-pin terminal block, with optional ignition on/off control. The monitor operates from -10 °C to 55 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -30 °C to 70 °C. Vibration is specified to MIL-STD-810G Method 514.6, with shock to Method 516.6 as an option. The fanless aluminium housing measures 310 x 215 x 52.7 mm, fits a 75 x 75 mm VESA mount or an optional yoke stand, and carries CE and FCC marks.
