Winmate R10L100-VMT2(HB) 10.4″ Rugged Vehicle Touch Monitor with XGA Resistive Display and Wide DC Input

Cab-mounted screens have to run on vehicle power, survive vibration and stay readable when the sun comes through the windscreen. The R10L100-VMT2(HB) is Winmate’s 10.4 inch G-WIN VM display with a 1024 x 768 panel, 5-wire resistive touch, an isolated 10 to 60 V DC input and a front IP65 aluminium housing, with a high brightness panel as an option.

The standard 10.4 inch LCD runs at 1024 x 768 with 350 nits, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.2M colours and 176° viewing angles. Where the screen faces daylight, Winmate offers a high brightness panel for sunlight readability, and anti-reflection protection glass is also optional. The 5-wire resistive touch screen works with gloves, and five buttons with power and status LEDs sit on the front.

Video arrives over VGA, with HDMI as an option, and touch data runs over an optional USB Type-A port or an optional RS-232 D-sub 9 port. Power is 10 to 60 V DC on a 3-pin terminal block with an isolated input, and an ignition on/off control function is available as an option, so the display can follow the vehicle’s key. The R10L100-VMP3 is the 640 x 480 version of this housing, and the R15L100-VMC3(HB) offers the VM design with a 15 inch screen.

Winmate builds the housing to MIL-STD-810G and IEC 60068-2-27 for shock and vibration, with Method 514.6 vibration testing and optional Method 516.6 shock testing. The front is IP65 protected except at the I/O ports, and the unit cools without a fan. It operates from -10 °C to 55 °C, stores from -30 °C to 70 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, measures 315 x 250 x 67 mm, weighs 2.9 kg, mounts on 75 x 75 mm VESA holes or a yoke stand and carries CE and FCC marks.
