Winmate R10L100-VMP3 10.4″ Rugged Vehicle Touch Monitor with 640 x 480 Resistive Display and Wide DC Input

Vehicle displays face battery voltages that swing with the engine, constant vibration and cabs that get dusty and wet. The R10L100-VMP3 is Winmate’s 10.4 inch G-WIN VM display, pairing 5-wire resistive touch with an isolated 10 to 60 V DC input and an anti-corrosion aluminium housing with a front IP65 rating.

The 10.4 inch LCD runs at 640 x 480 with 450 nits, a 700:1 contrast ratio and 16.2M colours, with viewing angles of 160° horizontally and 140° vertically. That native resolution suits dispatch and machine software written for VGA. The 5-wire resistive touch screen works with gloves, and protection glass without touch is available as an option. Five buttons and power and status LEDs sit on the front.

Video arrives over VGA, with HDMI as an option, and touch data runs over an optional USB Type-A port or an optional RS-232 D-sub 9 port. Power is 10 to 60 V DC on a 3-pin terminal block with an isolated input, and an ignition on/off control function is available as an option, so the display can follow the vehicle’s key. The R10L100-VMT2(HB) uses the same housing with a 1024 x 768 panel and an optional high brightness panel, and the R12L100-VMM2 moves to a 12.1 inch 500 nit screen.

The housing is front IP65 protected except at the I/O ports, cools without a fan and is vibration tested to MIL-STD-810G Method 514.6, with Method 516.6 shock testing as an option. Winmate also states compliance with EN50155. The monitor stores from -30 °C to 70 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing. It measures 315 x 250 x 67 mm, weighs 2.9 kg, mounts on 75 x 75 mm VESA holes or a yoke stand and carries CE and FCC marks.
