Winmate W15IAD3S-CHA2 15.6″ Chassis Panel PC with 12th Gen Intel Core i5 and Resistive Touch

A chassis panel PC is often the simplest way to put an HMI on a machine: one unit on a VESA arm, wall bracket or stand, with the computer behind the screen. The W15IAD3S-CHA2 is Winmate’s 15.6 inch chassis panel PC for that kind of install, with a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U and a 400 nit 1366 x 768 display with 500:1 contrast.

The Core i5-1235U runs at up to 4.4 GHz with one DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM socket, 8 GB as standard and 16 or 32 GB as options, which typically leaves the W15IAD3S-CHA2 room for HMI software and a SCADA client. Storage is a 128 GB NVMe SSD as standard on an M.2 2280 M-key slot, with options to 4 TB and an optional 2.5″ SATA III drive. TPM 2.0 is on board, with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04. Resistive touch is optional, as is protection glass without touch.

Connections include two 2.5GbE ports on Intel controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments, and two speakers. HDMI 2.0 is optional, and an M.2 E-key slot takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Within the Winmate range the W15IAD7T-CHA2 takes LGA1700 Core i3 to i9 processors in the same chassis format, with fan cooling, and the W15IAD3S-IPA2 puts the same Core i5-1235U behind a front IP65 bezel.

Power is 12 V DC on a barrel jack, with a 120 W AC adapter supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 to 50 °C in non-condensing humidity, which suits indoor cabinets and control rooms. VESA mounting is standard, with VESA screws supplied. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the W15IAD3S-CHA2 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
