Winmate W15L100-OFB2 14.9″ Open Frame Monitor with 1920 x 720 LCD and 950 Nits

Kiosk makers and machine builders often want the display without a finished bezel, so it sits behind a front panel they have designed themselves. The W15L100-OFB2 is Winmate’s 14.9 inch open frame monitor for that job, with a 14.9″ 1920 x 720 panel at 950 nits and optional protection glass. It connects to a separate computer over VGA, with HDMI or DVI as options.

The 14.9″ 1920 x 720 panel runs at 950 nits with 1000:1 contrast, 16.7 million colours and 170 degree viewing angles in both directions, which suits indoor lighting in control rooms and enclosures. Protection glass is available as an option, and the panel has no touchscreen listed, which suits status and information screens.

Video comes in on VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI inputs as options, so the W15L100-OFB2 pairs with most industrial PCs and box PCs. An audio line in and two speakers are optional, and five keys (power, plus, minus, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu. VGA and HDMI cables and a manual come in the box. Within the Winmate range the W12L100-OFB1 is the smaller 12.3 inch 1920 x 720 open frame display at 1000 nits, and the W15L100-OFA2 is the 15.6 inch 1366 x 768 open frame monitor with resistive or SAW touch options.

Power is 12 V DC in, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and an AC adapter and power cord are supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 to 50 °C and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C, at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, which suits indoor cabinets and control rooms.
