12G-QSDI to HDMI2.0 Overview
A 4K SDI feed often needs to reach two HDMI destinations at once, such as a director’s monitor and a client display, or a monitor and an HDMI recorder. The Yuan 12G-QSDI to HDMI2.0 is an SDI to HDMI converter with two HDMI 2.0 outputs, typically used for monitoring in broadcast, post-production and pro AV rooms.
Inputs are one 12G-SDI and three 6G-SDI connections, accepting single-link 12G-SDI or quad-link SDI in two-sample interleave. Supported formats are 4096×2160 and 3840×2160 at 60/50 fps on 12G-SDI, 4K30 on 6G-SDI, and HD formats down to 720p. Both HDMI 2.0 outputs carry the same signal in the input format, without scaling. SDI to HDMI conversion requires a 4:2:2 10-bit source. Embedded audio of up to eight channels, 24-bit, 48 kHz is passed to HDMI.
The 12G-QSDI to HDMI2.0 has auto source format detection and runs from a 7.5 to 15 V DC input. If your displays need scaled output, the 12G-QSDI to HDMI2.0-S adds up/down conversion and a 12G-SDI loop. For the opposite direction, the HDMI2.0 to 12G-QSDI converts HDMI 2.0 to 12G and quad-link SDI.
