HDMI to HDMI2.0 4K Overview
4K monitors, projectors and video walls are now common in control rooms and pro AV installations, but many cameras, players and PCs still output HD. Feeding them straight in leaves scaling to the display. The Yuan HDMI to HDMI2.0 4K is a broadcast video converter that up-scales HD HDMI to a real HDMI 2.0 signal at up to 4K60.
Input is one HDMI connection at up to 1920x1080p60, including 1080i, 720p, SD and VESA PC formats from 640×480 to 1280×1024. Output is one HDMI 2.0 port at 4096×2160 or 3840×2160 at 60/50 or 30/25/24 fps, or scaled down to HD, SD and PC formats. A built-in 4K super resolution engine handles the up-scale, and the output supports RGB 4:4:4, YUV 4:4:4, 4:2:2 and 4:2:0. Interlacer, de-interlacer and 60 to 59.94 fps conversion are built in. Embedded audio runs at up to eight channels, 24-bit, 192 kHz.
The HDMI to HDMI2.0 4K is plug and play and runs from a 7.5 to 15 V DC input. If you need to stay at HD with region of interest and VESA output, the HDMI to HDMI-S is the HD scaler. To send one HDMI 2.0 source to several displays, the HDMI2.0 Splitter offers four outputs.
