Multi-camera streaming and recording rigs quickly use up slots when every source needs its own card. The SC550N4 HDMI is Yuan’s 4-channel PCIe HDMI frame grabber, taking four HDMI sources through one full height card.
Four HDMI inputs run as independent capture channels. Digital video is captured at up to 1920 x 1080p at 60/50 fps, while 1920 x 1200 signals at 60/50 fps are taken in and captured at 30/25 fps, with PC modes down to 640 x 480 and more through the SDK. Colour formats cover 4:4:4 RGB24 and RGB32, 4:2:2 YUY2 and 4:2:0 YV12 and NV12 at 8 bits, giving software a choice between full colour detail and lighter frames. The card also crops, scales and deinterlaces on board and detects the incoming signal automatically. Audio is four stereo embedded inputs at 16-bit and 32 to 48 kHz, one per channel.
It is a PCIe x4 Gen2 card with no on-board encoder, so frames reach the host for software to process. Windows and Linux SDKs cover custom applications, and DirectShow and V4L2 support lets vMix, OBS, Zoom, Teams and similar software open it directly. The SC550N8 HDMI doubles the channel count on the same x4 interface, and the SC550N4 M2 HDMI fits four HDMI channels into an M.2 socket.
Supported systems are Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, 32-bit and 64-bit Linux from kernel 2.6.14, Linux on ARM, and NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX. The board measures 130.49 x 101.01 mm and Yuan specifies a full height bracket, carrying all four HDMI connectors. It has 16 GPIO lines and a watchdog, and Yuan lists multi-device support.
