UB575G HDMI2.1 HDR HID+ Overview
Monitoring and operating a computer that drives an 8K or high refresh display is awkward when the capture card cannot accept its signal or the operator needs a separate KVM. The UB575G HDMI2.1 HDR HID+ is Yuan’s USB HDMI frame grabber for HDMI 2.1 sources, a USB 3.0 unit with a USB 2.0 link that sends keyboard and mouse signals to the target PC.
The HDMI 2.1 input takes up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 or 50 fps, 3840 x 2160 at 120 or 100 fps and 1920 x 1080 at 240 fps, with 4:2:2 10-bit and 4:4:4 8-bit HDR sources supported. Over USB 3.0 the card delivers 3840 x 2160 at 30 fps, 2560 x 1440 at 60 fps and 1920 x 1080 at 120 fps in NV12, and 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps in NV12, YUY2 or 10-bit P010. Audio comes from HDMI embedded audio or a 3.5 mm analogue stereo input at 16-bit 48 kHz.
Video reaches the host through a USB 3.0 Type B port as a UVC device, so software that supports UVC capture can open it, while the USB 2.0 port carries keyboard and mouse control. On a USB 2.0 host, capture drops to 1280 x 720 at 30 fps and SD formats. The SC750N1-L HDMI2.1 captures HDMI 2.1 at full 8K60 on a PCIe card, and the UB575G HDMI is the HDMI capture card for 4K30 and 1080p120 sources.
An HDMI 2.1 loop-through output keeps the source display live. Operating system support covers Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 in 32-bit and 64-bit, Linux and macOS, which suits test benches, simulator stations and support desks where one operator views and controls another computer.
