MIC-733-AO Overview
Multi-camera inspection and robot guidance often need more AI headroom than a compact Jetson box offers, plus room for an expansion card. The Advantech MIC-733-AO is an embedded industrial PC built around the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin in a compact fanless case, with digital I/O, serial and an expansion path to a full PCIe x8 slot. It is also an Azure Certified Device and supports Allxon remote monitoring and OTA deployment.
Two builds are offered. The MIC-733-AO5A1 uses the AGX Orin 32GB, with an 8-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, a 1792-core Ampere GPU with 56 Tensor Cores and up to 200 TOPS. The MIC-733-AO6A1 uses the AGX Orin 64GB, with 12 cores, a 2048-core GPU with 64 Tensor Cores and up to 275 TOPS. Both have 256-bit LPDDR5, 64 GB of eMMC, an M.2 2280 NVMe socket on PCIe x4 and a micro SD slot.
I/O covers four Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI at 3840 x 2160 and 60 Hz, four isolated digital inputs and four outputs, and two RS-232/422/485 ports on on-board pin headers with an optional cable. Two mini PCIe sockets and an M.2 3052 B-key socket with two nano SIM slots take optional Wi-Fi and 5G modules. Options include a four-port PoE module, two-channel GMSL2 with FAKRA connectors, TPM 2.0, an iDoor bracket and the MIC-75M10 iModule with one PCIe x8 slot.
Power is 9 to 36 V DC in AT or ATX mode. The MIC-733-AO runs from -10 °C to 60 °C with 0.7 m/s airflow, is rated for 3 Grms vibration and 10 G shock, and measures 192 x 230 x 87 mm, or 111 mm tall with the iModule. It mounts on a desk or wall, with an optional DIN rail kit, and carries UL, CB, CE, FCC, BSMI and CCC certifications. The MIC-742-AT-T5000 moves to Jetson Thor, and the MIC-713-OX suits smaller Orin NX workloads.
