MIC-742-AT-T5000 Overview

Humanoid robots, autonomous mobile machines and multi-camera inspection cells increasingly run several large models at once, fed by cameras, lidar and motor controllers. The Advantech MIC-742-AT-T5000 is the Jetson T5000 build of the MIC-742-AT series, a fan-cooled industrial AI computer that pairs the largest Jetson Thor module with 25GbE networking and CAN FD in a 217 x 76.4 x 184.5 mm case.

The NVIDIA Jetson T5000 combines a 14-core Arm Neoverse V3AE CPU with a 2560-core Blackwell GPU carrying 96 fifth-generation Tensor Cores and 128 GB of LPDDR5X, for up to 2070 FP4 TFLOPS. That memory leaves room for vision and language models side by side. The MIC-742-AT7A1 ships with JetPack 7.0 on a pre-installed 1 TB NVMe SSD in the M.2 2280 socket on PCIe x4, and the MIC-742-AT7A2 is supplied without SSD or software.

One QSFP28 port carries four 25GbE links, alongside a 5GbE RJ45 port, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI at 3840 x 2160 and 60 Hz, four CAN FD ports and an I2C interface. Two SATA connectors add bulk storage. An M.2 2230 E-key socket takes an optional Wi-Fi module and an M.2 B-key socket with a nano SIM takes optional LTE or 5G. For cameras, the optional MIC-FG-8G2C1 frame grabber adds eight GMSL2 channels on mini FAKRA connectors, and TPM is on board.

Power is 19 to 36 V DC on a two-pin terminal block. The MIC-742-AT-T5000 operates from -10 °C to 60 °C with 0.7 m/s airflow, is rated for 3 Grms vibration, weighs 3 kg and mounts on a wall or DIN rail. Certifications are CE, FCC, CCC, KCC, BSMI and UL. The MIC-742-AT-T4000 is the same computer on the 12-core Jetson T4000 without CAN, and the MIC-733-AO covers Jetson AGX Orin workloads.
