Antaira LMP-1202M-SFP 12-Port Gigabit Managed Industrial Ethernet Switches with 8x PoE+ (240W), 2x SFP and Extended Temperature Options

Where field devices only need 10/100 links, Fast Ethernet PoE+ ports with separate gigabit uplinks put the bandwidth where it is used. The Antaira LMP-1202M-SFP series takes that approach: eight 10/100 PoE+ ports, two gigabit RJ45 ports and two dual-rate SFP slots, with Layer 2 management and ring redundancy in a DIN-rail case.

Every LMP-1202M-SFP switch shares the same design. Each switch has eight 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W each, two 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports and two 100/1000 dual-rate SFP slots for gigabit fibre, on a 9.6 Gbps store-and-forward fabric with an 8K MAC table. Management is Layer 2 with IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, IEEE 802.1p QoS, IGMP v1/v2/v3 multicast filtering, LACP, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON and DHCP Option 66/67/82. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, alongside STP, RSTP and MSTP, and Modbus TCP supports SCADA monitoring. Set-up is by web console, Telnet or CLI, with IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS and SSH/SSL for secure access. Port mirroring supports online diagnostics. Power arrives on redundant inputs through a removable 6-pin terminal block: 48 V to 55 V DC with a 240 W PoE budget on the standard models, or 12 V to 55 V DC with a built-in voltage booster on the -24 models, where the budget is 90 W at 12 V and 240 W from 48 V. Overload current, reverse polarity, EFT and ESD protection are built in, and exceptions can trigger an e-mail alert or the relay output.

The series splits on input and temperature. The LMP-1202M-SFP runs from 48 V to 55 V DC and is rated -10 °C to 70 °C, and the LMP-1202M-SFP-T is its -40 °C to 75 °C build. The LMP-1202M-SFP-24 accepts 12 V to 55 V DC through a built-in voltage booster, and the LMP-1202M-SFP-24-T adds the extended temperature range. For gigabit PoE+ ports the LMP-1202G-SFP series is the nearest range.

Antaira names power and utility, water and wastewater, oil, gas and mining, factory automation, security surveillance and ITS among the applications for the LMP-1202M-SFP series. Standard builds run from -10 °C to 70 °C and -T builds from -40 °C to 75 °C, so the same switch can serve an indoor panel and an unheated roadside or utility enclosure. Every model has an IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail or wall mounting, is designed to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration, and Antaira lists FCC, CE, UL 61010-1, UL Class 1 Division 2 and NEMA TS2 certifications with RoHS compliance.
