Antaira LMX-C602G-SFP-V2 6-Port Compact Gigabit Managed DIN Rail Ethernet Switches with 2x SFP and Extended Temperature Options

Small cabinets are where unmanaged switches tend to creep in, because rail space is short and only a handful of devices need connecting. That leaves the cabinet without ring redundancy, VLANs or any way to see what the network is doing. The Antaira LMX-C602G-SFP-V2 series is a family of small managed DIN rail Ethernet switches that brings those features to a six-port, space-saving unit with two fibre slots.

Each LMX-C602G-SFP-V2 has four 10/100/1000Tx RJ45 ports with auto MDI/MDI-X and two 100/1000 dual-rate SFP slots, switching store-and-forward on a 12 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC table and 9.6K jumbo frames. Light Layer 3 adds static routes and DHCP option 82 to the Layer 2 feature set, and ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, with STP, RSTP and MSTP for other layouts. The firmware covers VLAN, QoS, IGMP v1/v2/v3, LACP, LLDP, RMON and Modbus TCP, with 802.1X, SNMP v3, HTTPS and SSH securing access, and all connections face the front of the housing. DHCP server and client, sFlow, NTP client and dual image protection are also listed, so a fallback firmware image remains if an upgrade is interrupted.

The series offers two temperature grades. The LMX-C602G-SFP-V2 is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 65 °C for heated cabinets and machine panels, and the LMX-C602G-SFP-T-V2 is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor enclosures. Both run on redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs through a removable 6-contact terminal block and draw 10.8 W, with a 24 V DC, 1 A relay contact and a mini USB console.

Antaira names power and utility, water and wastewater, oil, gas and mining, factory automation, security surveillance and ITS as applications for the LMX-C602G-SFP-V2 series, on SCADA and control networks. The IP40 metal housing mounts on a DIN rail or wall, overload current and reverse polarity protection are built in, and Antaira lists IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration, with storage from -40 °C to 85 °C.
