Arestech BPC-3112 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U Mini Industrial PC with 4x COM and Dual 2.5GbE

Small control cabinets on conveyors, packing machines and transport kiosks rarely have space for a full-size box PC, yet the equipment inside still expects several serial ports and fast networking. The Arestech BPC-3112 series fits a 12th Gen Core i5 into a small fanless enclosure with four COM ports and dual 2.5GbE, giving mini industrial PCs for edge computing, factory automation, automation machines and transportation management.

The Core i5-1235U is a 15 W, ten-core, twelve-thread processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, with dual-channel DDR4 3200 non-ECC memory up to 64 GB across two SO-DIMM sockets and an optional TPM 2.0 module. Storage combines an M.2 2280 M-Key slot with PCIe x4 or SATA III and a 2.5″ SATA bay, with RAID 0/1 support. A full-size mini-PCIe slot with a Micro-SIM holder and an M.2 E-Key slot take optional 4G and Wi-Fi modules through two antenna holes, so a remote cabinet can report back without a separate router. The M.2 slot suits an NVMe boot drive for quick start-up, while the 2.5″ bay can hold a larger SATA drive for logs and recipes.

The series has one model today. The BPC-3112-1A1 carries four RS-232/422/485 ports, one at the rear and three at the front, two Intel I226V 2.5GbE ports, two HDMI 2.0 outputs up to 4096 x 2160, four USB 3.2 Gen2 and two USB 2.0 ports, a four-in, four-out GPIO connector, line-out and mic-in. That covers a typical HMI client or protocol gateway that has to talk to PLCs, meters and drives over serial while passing data upstream over Ethernet.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on a two-pin terminal block with AT and ATX modes, which suits 12 V and 24 V cabinet supplies. The BPC-3112 series runs fanless from -20 °C to 60 °C, is tested under IEC 60068 for vibration and shock, carries CE and FCC Class A marks and wall mounts, with Windows 11 or Linux supported. Where a project needs isolated DIO or a removable drive, the larger SB-5612 series uses the same processor.
