ASRock Industrial iEP-6012E-000 NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB Wide Temperature Fanless AI Computer with Dual GbE

Counting people at a door, reading an analogue gauge or checking that a part is present are tasks that suit a smaller Jetson module, provided the computer can live in a control cabinet. The ASRock Industrial iEP-6012E-000 is the basic model in the iEP-6012E series, a fanless AI computer in a 55 mm wide case for DIN rail, wall or VESA mounting.

The iEP-6012E-000 runs the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module with 8 GB of 128-bit LPDDR5, rated at up to 40 sparse (20 dense) INT8 TOPS, under NVIDIA JetPack 5. An M.2 M-key 2280 socket takes a PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe SSD, and on this basic model the M.2 B-key socket can hold a second, PCIe Gen3 x1 SSD. A microSD slot and TPM 2.0 complete the storage and security.

I/O covers two Gigabit LAN ports, one HDMI 1.4 output, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (one locking), two USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 and one RS-232/422/485 port. Two DB15 connectors carry four digital inputs, four digital outputs, CAN bus, I2C and SPI, and an M.2 E-key socket takes a Wi-Fi module. Power is 12 to 36 V DC with 80 V surge protection, with a locking USB Type-C PD 20 V input as backup.

ASRock Industrial rates the iEP-6012E-000 from -25 °C to 60 °C with a wide temperature NVMe SSD, with 100 G operating shock and 5 Grms vibration, and the case weighs 1.3 kg. The iEP-6012E-001 is the same fanless AI computer with two PoE ports, and the iEP-6010E-000 moves to the Jetson Orin NX 16GB for larger models.
