DFI RPP051-BTD-1315UE Intel Core i3-1315UE (Raptor Lake) Pico-ITX Board with 2.5GbE, DP and eDP

Machine HMIs and data collection units usually run one application for years: a control interface, a historian or a protocol bridge. The RPP051-BTD-1315UE is the Core i3 build of the DFI RPP051 series, a 2.5″ Pico-ITX board sized for that kind of work, with a six-core processor in a fanless 100 x 72 mm design.

The Intel Core i3-1315UE has six cores and eight threads at a 15 W TDP, running from 1.2 GHz up to 4.5 GHz. Intel UHD graphics decodes AV1, HEVC, VP9, AVC and MJPEG in hardware, which covers dashboards, trend screens and camera previews. A single DDR5 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 32 GB at 4800 MHz, usually more than an HMI or data collection application needs.

DP++ at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz and eDP at up to 4096 x 2160 run two independent displays, such as an operator panel and a status screen. The RS-232/422/485 port and 8-bit DIO on internal headers link to PLCs, sensors and relays, and the Intel I226IT 2.5GbE port to the plant network. Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and two internal USB 2.0 ports take peripherals, and three M.2 sockets take Wi-Fi, PCIe x2 or SATA storage, and a 4G or 5G modem with nano SIM.

The board takes 12 V DC on a terminal block and cools through a passive heatsink, operating from -5 to 65 °C in indoor cabinets and machine housings. It supports Windows 11, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64-bit and Linux, with TPM 2.0 and CE, FCC, UKCA, KC and RoHS compliance. The RPP051-TCD-1315URE carries the same six-core Core i3 rated from -40 to 85 °C, and the RPP051-BTD-1345UE moves to ten cores with Iris Xe graphics.
