DFI WL173-NB-4305UE Intel Celeron 4305UE Mini-ITX Embedded Motherboard with 9 to 36 V DC Input and Dual GbE

Operator terminals, label stations and simple machine HMIs often run one application for the life of the equipment, fed from whatever DC supply the machine provides. The WL173-NB-4305UE is the Celeron build in the DFI WL173 series of Mini-ITX embedded motherboards, taking 9 to 36 V DC and rated from -5 to 65 °C for indoor sites.

The Intel Celeron 4305UE (Whiskey Lake) has two cores at a fixed 2.0 GHz, with 2 MB of cache in a 15 W TDP, so performance stays steady for a single application. Two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots take up to 32 GB, running at 2133 MHz with this processor. Intel UHD Graphics 610 drives two rear DP++ outputs at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz and a dual-channel LVDS header as three independent displays.

Networking is two GbE ports on Intel I210AT and I219LM controllers. One RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port on internal headers and 8-bit DIO connect printers, scanners and indicators, and four rear USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports with four internal USB 2.0 headers cover peripherals. An M.2 M-key with PCIe x4 takes an NVMe SSD, two SATA 3.0 ports support RAID 0, 1 and 5, an M.2 E-key (2230) takes Wi-Fi and a PCIe x4 Gen3 slot is free for an add-in card.

The WL173-NB-4305UE runs from 9 to 36 V DC on a barrel connector or 4-pin header and operates from -5 to 65 °C, with a discrete TPM 2.0 and a watchdog programmable from 1 to 255 seconds.
