Neousys Nuvo-2600E Intel Atom x6425E Fanless Box PC with 4x GbE and PCIe Expansion Cassette

A packaging line or inspection station often needs one specialist card, such as a frame grabber, a fieldbus interface or extra digital I/O, alongside a modest processor. The NUVO-2600E gives that card a home without moving to a larger computer. It is the base build of the Neousys NUVO-2600 series of fanless box PCs, pairing the Intel Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E with a patented PCIe Cassette.

The quad-core Atom x6425E runs at 2.0 GHz base and 3.0 GHz burst within 12 W, with one DDR4-3200 SODIMM up to 32 GB, Intel UHD Graphics and firmware TPM 2.0. That suits PLC-style control, data acquisition, HMI duties and light vision work, and the low power keeps the NUVO-2600E fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C.

The Cassette carries one PCIe x4 slot wired at PCIe 3.0 x2, with an optional 25 mm fan kit for hotter cards. Four Intel I210 GbE ports use screw-lock RJ45 connectors, and an isolated RS-485 port with 15 kV ESD protection, three RS-232 ports or one RS-422/485, and 4-channel isolated DI and DO connect machine signals. One screw-lock USB 3.1 Gen1 port, two USB 2.0 ports and VGA plus DVI through a DVI-I connector cover peripherals and displays. Storage pairs an M.2 2280 SATA socket with a front-accessible tray for a 2.5-inch drive up to 15 mm high. Projects with PoE cameras can use the NUVO-2600E-PoE instead.

Power is 8 to 35 V DC on a 3-pin terminal block, with a second terminal block for remote on/off and a power LED output. Vibration and shock are tested to MIL-STD-810G, and the 205 x 155 x 86 mm chassis weighs 2.3 kg, with an optional wall-mount kit. Two mini PCIe sockets and an M.2 B key socket with dual micro SIM slots leave room for Wi-Fi, 4G or 5G later.
