Neousys Nuvo-2860VTC-PoE Quad-Core Intel Atom x7425E Vehicle PC with 4x M12 PoE+, E-Mark and Ignition Control

Onboard camera systems need power at every camera, and a separate PoE switch is one more box to mount, wire and fuse in a vehicle. The Neousys Nuvo-2860VTC-PoE powers four IP cameras itself through IEEE 802.3at PoE+ ports on locking M12 X-coded connectors, in a fanless vehicle PC of 206 x 144 x 65 mm. It is the PoE+ version of the Nuvo-2860VTC series, aimed at mobile surveillance and passenger information systems.

On the Nuvo-2860VTC-PoE, each port delivers up to 25.5 W from a total PoE+ budget of 50 W, and the ports run from a Broadcom BCM5719 Gigabit controller. The Intel Atom x7425E has four cores at 1.5 to 3.4 GHz with a 12 W TDP, one DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 16 GB, and Intel UHD Graphics with 24 execution units runs light inference through OpenVINO and drives a 4K HDMI output. Video can be stored on an NVMe SSD in the M.2 2280 socket or on a drive in the internal 2.5-inch bay.

Other I/O covers two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with screw locks, an RS-232/422/485 port, two isolated CAN 2.0 ports with SocketCAN support, two isolated digital inputs, five isolated digital outputs and a mic-in and speaker-out jack. An M.2 B key socket takes a 4G or 5G module with dual micro SIM for uploading footage, and two full-size mini PCIe sockets take Wi-Fi or a second modem.

Power is 8 V to 35 V DC on a three-pin terminal block with built-in ignition control. The Nuvo-2860VTC-PoE is E-Mark certified, runs from -40 °C to 70 °C and meets EN 50155:2021 and IEC 61373 Category I Class B for body-mounted shock and vibration, with EN 50121 EMC and CE and FCC Class A. Neousys also builds the Nuvo-2860VTC, the same vehicle PC with plain M12 Gigabit ports.
