Neousys POC-712 Intel Atom x7425E Ultra-Compact Fanless Embedded Computer with 4x GbE

Gateways, cabinet HMIs and line controllers often need several network ports, isolated I/O and a small footprint more than raw performance. The POC-712 delivers that on a 12 W processor. It is the Atom x7425E build of the Neousys POC-700 series of ultra-compact fanless embedded computers, in a DIN-rail unit 64 mm wide.

The Atom x7425E has four cores at 1.5 GHz base and 3.4 GHz burst within 12 W, with Intel UHD Graphics with 24 EUs and Intel OpenVINO support. One DDR5-4800 SODIMM takes up to 16 GB, and dTPM 2.0 is on board, which suits protocol conversion, data logging, HMI and light vision on the POC-712.

Four GbE ports by Intel I350-AM4 with screw-lock can separate machine, plant and uplink networks, and four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, also screw-locked, take cameras and storage. A DP++ output at 4096 x 2160 and an HDMI 1.4b output at 3840 x 2160 drive displays. Serial I/O is one software-programmable RS-232/422/485 port plus three RS-232 ports or one RS-422/485, and 4-channel isolated DI and DO handle machine signals. Storage is an M.2 2280 M key socket at PCIe Gen3 x1 for NVMe or SATA, a mini PCIe socket with a micro SIM slot takes Wi-Fi or LTE, and the MezIO interface adds Neousys modules. The POC-712-UL is the UL-certified build.

Power is 8 to 35 V DC on a terminal block with remote control and LED outputs. The POC-712 runs fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C with MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock, weighs 1.2 kg and mounts on a DIN rail as standard.
